Wait, I see you are doing a COPY LOCAL. The exception and rejection files will then have to be stored on the client.

A silly question. Does Vertica-JDBC drive store some kind of error logs on client side ?
My application, Kettle Pentaho, show me just an exception with the insert statement, but also using place holders instead of values.

Do you have access to the 6..x Programmer's Guide? Check out the section "Identifying Accepted and Rejected Rows" on page 143. It's specific for JDBC connections.
