Max No Of Columns can we use in one table in vertica DB?

Hi,

Can any one tell me how many no of columns can we use in one table and also i would like to know about using 'IN' operator how many values we can search in parallel?

Hello,

The maximum number of Columns for each table supported by Vertica is 1600.

For IN clause, There is no such limit defined with Vertica, You can try wih at your end.
But recommended is not to overload the IN clause, as this can affect the query perormance badly.
Instead go for Joins or Regular expressions in Vertica
