Vertica crashes after upgrade to 7 :(

Hi,

Anyone else having an issue with Vertica 7? I upgraded our DB from 6.1.3 to 7.0.0.

So far the DB has crashed twice while querying the vs_system_table.

I couldn't even restart the DB easily. I had to rollback to a previous epoch!

Hi Jim,

I created some tables based on Vertica DC tables and then tried copying data from the DC table into my local tables. But when querying the vs_system_internal table to get the names of the DC tables Vertica crashes! Very weird. I did the same thing in 6.1.3 and it worked fine

When you rollback is it always to the same epoch? If so, try shutting down the DB cleanly and restarting. Then try querying the vs_system_tables table.
