When will vertica support Procedural extensions?

Post by lwmonster » Fri Apr 29, 2016 7:21 am

hi:

We are using Oracle now, and we want to change a new one, as it's Query performance is not that good; We found Vertica. But we found that Vertica don't support Procedural extensions good( compare to Oracle PL/SQL), so I want to know will Vertica support Procedural Extensions? If yes, what is the roadmap?

It will be very nice if someone give any reply

We do support procedural extensions...
  • External Procedures
  • User Defined-SQL Functions
  • User Defined-Extensions
Check out the documentation here:
