why does epoch take so much place: based on column_storage

I have a table which have 5 Billion rows. Most columns have repeat value, so RLE could compress the data to a very small size. But based on column_storage , it shows column of epoch took 110118341 bytes. How does epoch stored, why it needs so much place?
