Job Description
- - Work with the product owner and business analysts in analyzing business requirements and design and implement data models and database structures to meet those requirements
- Work with the engineering team to understand the required querying and reporting patterns and apply performance optimization techniques accordingly including projections, pre-aggregated tables, de-normalization or redesign of existing structures
- In charge of the setup, installation and maintenance of Vertica database clusters and servers
- Participate in establishing processes and best practices around development standards, version control, quality control, deployment, maintenance and change management
