Hi Guys,

If we look at the old Vertica (https://my.vertica.com/docs/4.1/HTML/Master/4314.htm) documentation there is mention of other sample database such as Clickstream, Telecom, Retail Sales, etc. I know that we have VMart Schema (example database) available by default. I was wondering if other example databases are also available for download?

Hope someone can help point to the right direction in obtaining those sample scripts.

I think you'll be able to find what you looking for here:

The text for the scripts are there. You may have to create the scripts manually via cut and paste.

I was hoping to have sample data too, but it looks like I'll have to generate my own

Maybe you can download the rpm for version 4.1 and install it on a spare Linux box or VM? Then you'll have access to the files and the executable programs that let you generate data for these databases...

Are you only looking for Clickstream, Telecom, Retail Sales schema for Vertica, If not so, You can try different schema too.
You can find schema for PostgreSQL with generated data. The script should be compatible with Vertica.
