Vertica Database Feature Requests

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone heard through the grape vine if Vertica plans on implementing stored procedures in a future release? I read on Vertica's web site forums that a lot of folks are requesting this feature as:

• - Procedural vSQL
  - Storage and compilation of the SQL

Maybe if we get enough users to ask for this then we'll get it!

Maybe we can get a new forum here where we can request/suggest new features to the Vertica engineers!?!?

Double post:
A HUGE downfall for Vertica is the lack of any kind of stored procedural language code. Its actually a joke among folks here at work. Although, nothing queries as fast as Vertica. But in the real world, is that enough?

I second any request for a PL in Vertica! This would be an awesome feature for the query fastest database I've worked with!

I would like to request that Vertica implement the SQL WITH statement!
