Vertica in web scale

Hi All,

We're trying to figure out if Vertica is fast enough for the web scale. In our use case we would provide a report self-service for our SaaS app.
So potentially, hundreds (maybe thousands) users will built reports, which run on top of Vertica.
Could you share with me your experience who has a similar use case? What's your architecture? What do you recommend to do in such case?
