What's New in 7.2.2? Transfer Data with Object Replication

The new object replication feature, introduced in Vertica 7.2 SP2, allows you to replicate tables and schemas from one database to alternate clusters in your organization.

Use this new functionality whenever you want to efficiently move all or a subset of your data between databases. Specifically, you might use object replication to:

• Replicate objects to a secondary site in case of disaster
• Move data between test, staging, and production clusters
