Migrate data from one Vertica host to another Vertica host

We have two Vertica hosts sitting on two AWS clusters. We are planning to migrate data from one Vertica host to the other one.

From Vertica document, I can use command COPY FROM VERTICA or EXPORT TO VERTICA to perform the data migration. I first call CONNECT TO VERTICA command to establish connection between two hosts, however it returned error below. Do I need to set up some configuration? Thanks.

ERROR 2823: Could not connect to server [myhost]: Operation now in progress
Is the server running and accepting
TCP/IP connections on port 5433?
