All the documentation for Vertica has moved here:

Check out the Administrator's Guide for MC stuff in the section called "Using Management Console" and the Installation Guide has a section called "Installing and Configuring Management Console".

Hi
During the installation of MC 6.1.1 , i am getting following error in the mclog file
05 Aug 2013 04:44:45,595 [Thread-23] VerticaSpaceMonitorJob ERROR - An unknown error occured in VerticaSpaceMonitorJob: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory ([Vertica][VJDBC](100176) Failed to connect to host localhost on port 5433. Reason: Connection refused)

Hi,
I successfully install management console in my local machine. I installed and configured for community version of the vertica.
note : 1.pls install the same version of the vertica-console as like as the vertica u r installed
2.try to install vertica MC in your local pc and configure the community cluster
