I did test via network and its works, no problems.

PS Does Krishna from Vertica Support? Is it official answer? Did you saw a ticket? It still open?

I believe yes, it seems a bug.
If you see the link on myVertica you will read that it is a bug.

Vertica 6.0 and COPY LOCAL issue
