Hello,

I am currently using Hadoop 2.2.0 with Vertica Community Edition 7.

I am trying to do a Wordcount on a table stored on Vertica.

This is my table:

TABLE movies (idMovie INTEGER, name VARCHAR(512), genre VARCHAR(512));

Do you have a similar example or can you help me by pointing the differents manipulations to do?

I successfully ran the hadoop-vertica-example, but I don't understand how to retrieve data from Vertica.
