Migrate data into Vertica from Netezza

We are migrating a large table (> 20 TB) From Netezza to Vertica.

There are three output formats supported by Netezza: ascii, binary, gzip (ordered by output size decreasingly). The unloading time is binary > gzip > ascii

It is painful to migrate from one database to another different database. I am wondering if Vertica can take binary output format. Anyone has experience on it?
