Post by sumanthota2014 » Fri Sep 12, 2014 1:09 pm

hi,

Is there way to restore the schema backup(object level backup) taken in one cluster be restored to different cluster.
Case1: If both source and target cluster are similar config(No of nodes, K-safety)
Case2: If both configs are different..

This is thoroughly covered in the documentation, but...

The source and target environments must both have:
  • The same database name
  • The same catalog and data structure
  • The same private IP's
Note: these are requirements for a full backup restore.

You may be able to do an object-level ackup restore.

Please refer to the documentation and if there's any confusion around what's there, then let us know.
