Backups

Hi,

I am trying to create a backup config file as following but getting an error :


/opt/vertica/bin]$ ./vbr.py --setupconfig
Snapshot name (backup_snapshot):
Backup vertica configurations? (n) [y/n]: y
Number of restore points (1):
Specify objects (no default): yes
Vertica user name (vertica): DataStore
Save password to avoid runtime prompt? (n) [y/n]: y

Backup directory (no default): /vert_backups/backups
Node v_datastore_node0004
Backup host name (no default): v_datastore_node0008

Hi,

Looks like you don't have the rights to create a new file in the directory you're currently in when you ran vbt.py.

Try changing the owner/group or rights on that directory, or simply switching to a directory where you have write access, and then run ./vbr.py --setupconfig again.
