Connecting Vertica to MS SQL

HI All,

Is there a way (and how) that Vertica DB can browse or Connect MS SQL Database?

do we need driver ?

Hi Norbertk,

What I meant is from the Vertica (unix box) going to query / connect to the MS SQL Server

If it's not using Vertica, then it's not a Vertica question. My guess is you would need some scripting language and drivers to connect to SQL Server from *nix.
