Hi All,
Till today, I was trying vertica using single node in my laptop. I would like to install 3 nodes using VMWARE. Any procedures document will be really helpful. I tried cloning single node but I am not sure how to configure hosts. I am newbie to VMWARE. Help is really appreciated.
Thanks,
Vignesh N.

Dump VMware and use Oracle VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/)!
You can find easy setup instructions by Norbert Krupa here:

But if you insist on VMware , how did you create the single VMWare VM? Did you use a Virtual Machine vmdk file provided by Vertica?

Hi Kincely,
For 1 Node Cluster,
I was using the vmdk file from vertica as well as I have installed it in virtual box.
When it comes to 3 node,
I did not know to create a link between the cloned machine. the link helped me a lot and it is a great article.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks,
