Full backup creates Snapshot

Post by larrypaul » Wed Oct 04, 2017 1:58 pm

I have a database that the backups stop running a few weeks ago. I no longer need the old backups but would like to start a new set. When I run the .ini script I am only getting a snapshot backup and not a full anymore. Does anyone know how I can reset and start new? The database is 7.1.2. Thanks.

If you delete the backups on disk, then Vertica will create a new full backup the next time you run vbr.

See:
