Re: Vertica Nodes Randomly Fail
The spread.conf seems to be OK. Also, I don't think it is an installation problem. The cluster works 95% of the time very well. OS: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-48-generic x86_64) I restarted the node. After that, when I wanted to retrieve data from my tables, connecting to the node just res...

Re: Target lists can have at most 1664 entries
Hi, Thank you for your response. The version is Vertica Analytic Database v7.1.1-0 . MERGE only with UPDATE , 971 columns, works. MERGE only with INSERT, 971 columns, doesn't work. MERGE only with INSERT, 26 columns, works. INSERT (971 columns) SELECT 971 columns FROM, works. Probably is a limitatio...

Target lists can have at most 1664 entries
Hi,
I have 2 tables with 971 columns.
The first one has 12,700,000 records, the second one is empty.
I need to run a MERGE in order to fill/update the second table.
The error is : ERROR 4913: Target lists can have at most 1664 entries
Where can I find information about this error ?
Thank you,
Veronica

Re: Data collector, unable to write data to disk: No space left
Thank you, Jim!
In fact, there was an other error behind this, related to the insufficient space.
